Milo's ROCKIN' 6th Birthday!

Milo's Birthday was a blast this year! he chose to do a "rockstar" party theme. we took this picture for his invitations, I was trying to get him to be crazy and stick his tongue out and stuff but he just told me he wanted to look really "cool" so that's what we got.




We had all the kids decorate their own guitar and had a little air-guitar concert.



We also gave "tattoos" to all the kids and spray painted their hair to give them that rockstar look.

Milo's cousin Gage came and gave a personal concert for the kids while they ate their cake and ice cream. The kids loved it! they were all so intrigued by gages awesome guitar skills!

And this is what he cake looked like before I decorated it! lets just say, you only need ONE cake mix. So after all was said and done, after I cleaned up the massive mess! and Milo came down from his sugar high, we had a pretty successful party. Milo is already planning for next year! Whew, Im glad thats over with!

24th of July

We had a pretty kicked back 24th this year, we pretty much did the usual festivities, Food, Friends and FUN! here are a few pitures of our little neighborhood firework show, and it was nice to do it outside of our house so we could put Auggie to bed!

Life!...What A Mess!

I'M BACK! So I am officially back on-line! I cant believe how disconnected I have felt. so the last few posts are just a jumble of what has been happening in the Lowry fam for the past month or so. It's kind of alot... so hang on!

Bear Lake Trip & The Accident...

so we took our annual bear lake trip this year with some freinds from the neighborhood, we had a blast as always, except for one little mis-hap on the 4-wheelers...

Milo was riding his 4-wheeler and took it on a little jump that we had made, well whhile coming down once he hit his mouth on the handlebars! OUCH! we took him to the insta-care there and they said that it would not need stitches but it knocked his two front teeth really loose. Besides the gap in his front teeth now and his gums being a little tweeked, it is healing pretty well, we are excpecting his two front teeth to fall out soon, but they were due to Fall out soon anyway.

Despite the whole face drama, we managed to have a pretty good time...

The BIG 20!

No, no, I didn't turn 20. (although I could totally pull it off! Ha. ha. ha. kidding.) I'm talking about our 20Th! MOVE! oops, we did it again. we decided that due to recent housing market turmoil and our financial situation (or lack there of...) it would be wise for us to downgrade a little and sell our money pit. It really hasn't been that bad of a transition, because we literally just moved a few streets away and Milo is able to stay in the same school, and all his Friends are still close. So all in all I think this is a wise move for us, even if it does make 20 moves in less than 10 years!

So this isn't the best picture, I ran out and took it, because I know I like to have a little visual to get the full picture. It really is the perfect house for us right now, we really have enjoyed the fun yard, and play-set for the kids.

Fathers Day & Small Fires...

We had a great fathers day, Milo gave Russ a finger painting that was so cute, and we went to the cemetery to take flowers to Grandpa Goodall's grave, and then wrapped up the evening at a BBQ at Nana & Papas house.

This is a little Caterpillar that hitchhiked a ride on the flowers we brought to the cemetery. But it was major drama when it was time to leave and I told Milo that he couldn't bring it with us he had a huge meltdown! but after much arguing and tears we gave it a nice home on a tree, where it could raise a family of it's own. :)

So here's the story... It was lunch time, and Milo wanted his usual lunch of noodles with butter. So I put a pot of noodles to boil, and then I went upstairs, because i had heard that Auggie woke up from his nap. Well we were all upstairs for about 15 min. Then we came back down and sat on the couch in the living room, as soon as I sat down I could smell something burning and I just thought that is was the pot, because on our pots they have a plastic like handle and whenever the flames from the gas stove get to high it kind of makes a funny burning smell, so I glanced over at the kitchen and saw the whole roll of paper towels in FLAMES!!!! I freaked out, and ran to the kitchen, and was thinking of all the things I have heard of about kitchen fires, so I was thinking, what are you not suppose to pour on a flame on your stove? then I remembered that is if it is a grease fire. So I got a large pitcher and filled it up with water and threw it at the flame that used to be my paper towels! luckily it put it out, but not without making a huge mess! once I had a second to collect myself and look around, there were little pieces of paper towel ash ALL over the house, because the kitchen window was open and blowing it all over the place! which is how I assume the fire started in the first place. so after all was said and done, all that was damaged was underneath the counter top, it is just a little blackened and the light is a little bubbly. whew. it could have been allot worse.

Auggie Turns 6 Months Old!

6 Months Old! I can hardly believe it! he is getting to be so much fun, and such a pain all at the same time! he is happy and giggling at one moment and crying for no reason at the next! jeez kid, Grow Up! I'm kidding, we love him, but you know how it goes, right?

Mmmmm... Peas. we started feeding him solid foods, but he is such a little pickle. He feels the need to take over and do it all by himself! It drives me CRAZY! I cant stand the mess it makes! it gets everywhere, up his nose, in his chair...EVERYWHERE!

He still also has to chew on everything that comes near his mouth! he doesn't care what it is, if it comes with in his hands reach, it will go right to his mouth! That sounds really sanitary.

...like the corner of my mind...

I cant belive it has been over a month since my last post! so much has happened! but the real problem is we dont have the internet right now, so it should be hooked up on monday and then I will post my brains out! so take a chill pill.
